As entry points into the inner west real estate market go, this super cute petite semi proves that big is not necessarily better. With just 70sqm of land, this one bedroom semi went under the hammer at auction on Saturday, sold by Sydney real estate auctioneer Clarence White of Menck White Auctioneers on behalf of Charles Milburn and the team at Ray White Balmain.
With two bidders in attendance, the bidding moved in modest increments due to one bidder insisting on bidding in $5,000 increments. The bidding opened at $850,000 and travelled just under $1m before bidding slowed considerably.
The Sydney housing market continues to show resilience with strong buyer numbers, solid clearance rates and very little by way of price movement during the Covid-19 pandemic so far.
