REINSW Novice Auctioneer of the Year winner Scott Menck has joined the Menck White Auctioneers team. Fresh from claiming victory at the recent REINSW Gala Awards Night, Scott is delighted to officially come on board.
Director Clarence White, himself a six-time REINSW award winner, couldn’t be prouder: “We’ve put Scott through his paces in training within our system over the last twelve months and he’s shown enormous skill and passion for the craft. He’s demonstrated the kind of pedigree we would expect from someone who has not only fallen in love with auctioneering but also has a natural aptitude for it. In our business we are dedicated to professional development, we train every week. So you’ve got to be passionate about what you do to fit in here. I’m particularly delighted with how quickly he has embraced our ethos around elevating the way our clients’ brands are perceived in their marketplace. He has picked so much up in a short space of time. He’s a huge talent and we expect he will go far in his career.“
Director Paul Menck (Scott’s cousin) said: “It’s a proud day for me particularly to be able to bring another member of my extended family into our business. Scott has always been a competitive soul and we share many interests in common, particularly in sport and fitness, so it was a natural progression to bring him into the fold at MW.”
Scott was chuffed with the REI win: “I’m stoked. I owe a huge debt to Clarence and Paul for the training and support they gave to help me win the title. And having the honour to travel to Adelaide to compete at the first ever Novice Austro was a highlight that won’t soon be forgotten. I just feel incredibly lucky to have the chance to join such an amazing team with such a rich history of success.” Scott said.
Since representing NSW at the Australasian Novice Championship in Adelaide in May, Scott has been out in the field calling auctions. His calls have taken him everywhere from Bowral to Bronte.
