Online Auctions: buyers pounce in lockdown as Sydney real estate hots up again
Buyers are out in force competing for Sydney real estate via online auctions in the midst of the lockdown. Online auctions have experienced a huge surge in registration numbers as a sharp tightening of available stock causes increased competition on the properties that are available to buy right now.
This one bedroom apartment with large outdoor courtyard and house-like proportions sold under the hammer for $1,190,000. Benjamin Martin of Ray White Balmain assembled 14 registered bidders to compete at the auction which was conducted online via Zoom by award winning real estate auctioneer Clarence White of Menck White Auctioneers.
